Steven earned his B.S. from Mississippi State University and carries forward a proud family legacy of entrepreneurship. He is a devoted husband, father, and community-minded business owner shaped by the examples of his father and grandfather.
His grandfather pioneered the oil and gas sector as the owner of a successful independent drilling company. Steven’s father expanded that vision on a larger scale, founding and leading over 50 companies under The Craft Companies umbrella.
Early in his career, Steven worked alongside his father as a petroleum geologist before transitioning into business development, where he helped secure substantial funding for high-risk exploration projects.
Over time, Steven felt called to redirect his inherited entrepreneurial drive and deep faith toward a new purpose. The same determination, integrity, and vision that powered oil rigs across Mississippi and Alabama now fuels Lucleon Insurance on Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Founded in 2020 in Destin, Lucleon applies decades of risk-management experience from the energy industry to protect Florida families and businesses with the same steadfast commitment. Steven has carried the Craft tradition forward—not through drilling ventures, but by safeguarding homes, vehicles, and futures with diligence and care.
Guided by gratitude and a firm foundation in Christ, Steven approaches every policy with the same steady compass—whether assessing exploration risks or crafting coverage that brings peace of mind during hurricane season.
